[Congkasae.com/kereba] For the first time the province of East Nusa Tenggara recorded the first case of covid-19 local transmission that occurred in the East Nusa Tenggara archipelago province's.
In its official statement on Monday, The head of the health department in the region Domi Mere said the case was found in the city of Kupang.
"The covid plus case in Kupang city has occurred, therefore, as our appeal yesterday about social distancing, phsycal distancing must really be carried out by the community," Domi Mere said on Monday night in Kupang.
Domi reminded the people of NTT to increase their vigilance in view of what has been feared so far in the East Nusa Tenggara province.
"Therefore, we urge all of us who have not been serious about following the health protocol to be more serious," he added.
The head of the health department also said that laboratory workers were working hard in examining samples so that everything was running optimally.
"So the information that has been waiting for by all people in the regency in the region is not too long as we,ve known," he explained.
East Nusa Tenggara provincial government announced the addition of three people positive confirmed cases of covid-19.
So far the total number of positive confirmed case of covid-19 in East Nusa Tenggara province becomes 16 people.
one patient was declared cured, while 15 others were undergoing treatment at a number of regional hospitals in NTT province.
